2.1 By using our site, you confirm that you accept these terms of use and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our site.

These terms of use refer to the following additional terms, which also apply to your use of our site:

5. We may make changes to, suspend or withdraw our site
5.1 We may update and change our site from time to time to reflect changes to our services and our priorities.
5.2 Our site is made available free of charge, but you may have to pay to enter our competitions. We do not guarantee that our site, or any content on it, will always be available or uninterrupted. We may suspend, withdraw or restrict the availability of all or any part of our site for business and operational reasons, and will try to give you reasonable notice of any suspension or withdrawal.
5.3 You are responsible for ensuring that all persons who access our site through your internet connection are aware of these terms and any other applicable terms, and that they comply with them.
6. Who can use our site
6.1 Our site is directed to people resident in the United Kingdom, who must be 18 or over. We do not represent that the content on our site is appropriate for use, or available, in other locations. Our competitions are open to UK residents aged 18 or over only.
7. Keep your account details safe
7.1 If you are provided with, or choose, a user name, password or any other piece of information as part of our security procedures, you must treat it as confidential and must not disclose it to any third party.
7.2 We have the right to disable any user name or password, whether chosen by you or allocated by us, at any time if, in our reasonable opinion, you have failed to comply with any of these terms.
7.3 If you know or suspect that anyone other than you knows your login details, you must promptly notify us at contact@ukcompsclub.co.uk.
8. How you may use material on our site
8.1 We are the owner or licensee of all intellectual property rights in our site and the material published on it. Those works are protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world. All such rights are reserved.
8.2 You may print off one copy, and may download extracts, of any page(s) from our site for your personal use. You must not use any part of the content on our site for commercial purposes without a licence from us.
8.3 If you print off, copy or download any part of our site in breach of these terms, your right to use our site will cease immediately and you must, at our option, return or destroy any copies you have made.

9.1 The content on our site is provided for general information only and is not intended to be advice on which you should rely. Although we make reasonable efforts to keep it up to date, we make no representations, warranties or guarantees that it is accurate, complete or current.

10.1 Where our site contains links to other sites and resources provided by third parties, those links are provided for your information only and should not be interpreted as our approval of them. We have no control over the contents of those sites or resources.

12. Our responsibility for loss or damage
12.1 We do not exclude or limit in any way our liability to you where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or the negligence of our employees, agents or subcontractors, and for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
12.2 Different limitations and exclusions of liability apply to liability arising from your entry into our competitions, which are set out in our Competition Terms & Conditions.
12.3 We provide our site for domestic and private use only. You agree not to use it for any commercial or business purpose, and we have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity.
13. We are not responsible for viruses, and you must not introduce them
13.1 We do not guarantee that our site will be secure or free from bugs or viruses. You are responsible for configuring your technology to access our site, and you should use your own virus-protection software.
13.2 You must not misuse our site by knowingly introducing viruses, trojans, worms or other malicious material, attempt to gain unauthorised access to our site or the servers, computers or databases connected to it, or attack our site via a denial-of-service attack. Breaching this provision would be a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. We will report any such breach to the relevant law-enforcement authorities and will co-operate with them, including by disclosing your identity. Your right to use our site will cease immediately.
14. Rules about linking to our site
14.1 You may link to our home page, provided you do so in a way that is fair and legal and does not damage our reputation or take advantage of it. You must not suggest any form of association, approval or endorsement on our part where none exists.
14.2 Our site must not be framed on any other site, and you may not link to any part of our site other than the home page. We reserve the right to withdraw linking permission without notice.
15. Which country’s laws apply to any disputes
15.1 These terms of use, their subject matter and their formation are governed by English law. You and we both agree that the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction.
