Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Statement
Northern Design and Marketing Ltd, which operates UK Comps Club, is committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings. We have zero tolerance for modern slavery and human trafficking in any part of our business or our supply chains. This statement sets out the steps we take to prevent it.
We are a small business and may not currently meet the £36m turnover threshold that makes a statement mandatory under section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. We publish this statement voluntarily because we believe these standards matter regardless of size.
1. Our business and supply chains
We run skill-based prize competitions online. Our supply chain is short and mostly digital: web hosting and software services, payment processing, and the suppliers from whom we buy the prizes we award (such as consumer electronics retailers and vehicle dealers).
2. Our policies
- We expect everyone who works with or for us to uphold these standards.
- We seek to work with reputable, established suppliers and to source prizes through legitimate UK retail and trade channels.
- We provide a confidential route to raise concerns — email contact@ukcompsclub.co.uk.
3. Due diligence
We assess the risk of modern slavery when selecting significant suppliers and prefer suppliers who can demonstrate their own anti-slavery commitments. Where we identify a risk, we will investigate and, if necessary, cease working with that supplier.
4. Reporting concerns
Anyone who suspects modern slavery connected to our business or supply chain should report it to us at contact@ukcompsclub.co.uk, or to the Modern Slavery Helpline on 08000 121 700.
This statement is reviewed and updated annually.
