1. Prohibited uses
You may use our site only for lawful purposes. You may not use our site:

1.2 in any way that is unlawful or fraudulent, or has any unlawful or fraudulent purpose or effect;
1.3 for the purpose of harming or attempting to harm minors in any way;
1.4 to send, knowingly receive, upload, download, use or re-use any material which does not comply with our content standards below;
1.5 to transmit, or procure the sending of, any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising or promotional material or any other form of similar solicitation (spam); or
1.6 to knowingly transmit any data or send or upload any material that contains viruses, trojan horses, worms, time-bombs, keystroke loggers, spyware, adware or any other harmful programs or computer code designed to adversely affect the operation of any software or hardware.
You also agree:
1.7 not to reproduce, duplicate, copy or re-sell any part of our site in breach of our Website Terms of Use; and
1.8 not to access without authority, interfere with, damage or disrupt any part of our site, any equipment or network on which our site is stored, any software used in the provision of our site, or any equipment, network or software owned or used by any third party.
2. Entries, skill answers and any contributions
2.1 Entering a competition requires you to submit a skill answer, and you may contact us or provide information through the site. Any such material you submit (a “contribution”) must comply with the content standards below.
3. Content standards
These standards apply to any and all material you contribute to our site. You must comply with the spirit and the letter of the following.
Contributions must:
3.1 be accurate (where they state facts) and genuinely held (where they state opinions); and
3.2 comply with applicable law in the UK and in any country from which they are posted.
Contributions must not:
3.3 be defamatory, obscene, offensive, hateful or inflammatory, or promote sexually explicit material or violence;
3.4 promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age;
3.5 infringe any copyright, database right or trade mark of any other person, or be likely to deceive any person;
3.6 be made in breach of any legal duty owed to a third party, such as a contractual duty or a duty of confidence;
3.7 promote, advocate or assist any unlawful act;
3.8 be threatening or abusive, invade another’s privacy, or cause annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety; or
3.9 impersonate any person, misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or give the impression that the contribution comes from us if it does not.
4. Suspension and termination
4.1 We will determine, in our discretion, whether there has been a breach of this policy through your use of our site. Failure to comply with this policy is a material breach of the Website Terms of Use on which you are permitted to use our site, and may result in our taking any of the following actions: immediate, temporary or permanent withdrawal of your right to use our site; removal of any material you have contributed; a warning; legal proceedings for reimbursement of our costs; further legal action; or disclosure of information to law-enforcement authorities where we reasonably consider it necessary.
4.2 We exclude our liability for actions taken in response to breaches of this policy. The responses above are not limited, and we may take any other action we reasonably deem appropriate.
